Second Wind was born out of lived experience. Walking through the care journey with loved ones revealed just how overwhelming and isolating this process can be. Families are often left navigating unfamiliar systems while carrying the emotional weight of watching a loved one’s health change. Out of that personal path came a calling to turn hardship into healing and to ensure that no family feels alone in making these life-shaping decisions.

I founded Second Wind after navigating the overwhelming care journey for my own mother. I know firsthand the fear, confusion, and endless options families face, and I made it my mission to ensure no one goes through this alone.
